c2c have just published the proposed timetable for December 2006, for consultation. This timetable is a complete rewrite of the current timetable.You can view this on c2c's website at http://www.c2c-online.co.uk/travel/2006ttconsultation.html, this page also has links to an online feedback form where you can comment on the proposed changes. In summary the changes include:

 •  The timetable has been totally rewritten in the peak, off peak & weekend remains largely unchanged
 •  The new timetable has been written around the improved performance characteristics of the class 357 trains, most journey times will be reduced by a few minutes
 • Chafford Hundred and Ockendon will have an improved spread of services with one peak train every 20 minutes
 • There will be a peak service via Rainham every 10 minutes
 • Improved late evening services (post 22.00) to Thurrock stations
 • The new timetable uses a total of 71 of the fleet of 74 class 357 trains, previously only 69 were used in the peak.
