May 2007 Timetable




c2c have announced the May 2007 timetable for the route, which comes into effect on 20th May 2007. It attempts to restore some of the advantages to Thurrock passengers that were originally included in the abortive December 2006 timetable. Among the improvements are:

Morning Peak

* the 0552 Grays to Upminster service now depart at 0551 and runs through to Fenchurch Street (arrive 0630) calling at all stations
* the following 0629 Shoeburyness to Fenchurch Street train will no longer call at Barking
* the 0653 Grays to Ockendon shuttle service will now depart earlier at 0651 and run through to Fenchurch Street (arrive 0732) calling at all stations.
the 0727 Pitsea to Fenchurch Street via Rainham train now starts from Southend Central and calls at all stations to Pitsea providing a useful new link from the Southend area to stations in Thurrock
* the 0817 Pitsea to Fenchurch Street via Rainham departs at 0812 and runs 5 minutes earlier throughout
* an additional service will depart from Stanford le Hope at 0832 for Fenchurch Street calling at all stations to Barking via Rainham then Limehouse, arriving at Fenchurch Street at 0923

Evening Peak

 * a new 1555 Fenchurch Street to Grays via Rainham service. This results in the 1605 to Pitsea via Rainham being retimed to depart at 1613 and run 8 minutes later throughout
* a new is a 1630 Fenchurch Street to Laindon (arrive 17.08) calling at all stations. The present 16.30 Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness will now depart at 16.28 and will no longer call at West Horndon
* the 18.00 Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness will call West Ham, as well as Basildon and Pitsea
* similarly, the 18.11 Fenchurch Street to Pitsea via Rainham service will depart at 18.12 and call additionally at West Ham.
* an additional 19.32 Fenchurch Street to Laindon (arrive 20.04) will call at West Ham, Barking and Upminster only

Late Evening

All late evening services now depart from Fenchurch Street until the close of service, although 2 shuttle services will run between Liverpool Street & Barking at 20.38 & 21.38

 * while both the 20.20 and 21.20 Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness services will now terminate at Southend Central the rolling stock from both trains will now be utilised to form brand new and much needed late evening services on both the Rainham and Ockendon routes
* these will include an additional 2150 Southend Central to Fenchurch Street via Ockendon replacing the present 22.27 Grays to Upminster shuttle service
* an additional 22.50 Southend Central to Barking service replacing the 23.17 Stanford le Hope to Barking service
* also new are an additional 2146 Grays to Fenchurch Street (arrive 22.21) via Rainham
* plus an additional 2220 Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness via Ockendon service which replaces 2245 Upminster to Stanford le Hope train
* from London additional late evening services include a new 23.20 Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness via Ockendon service
* a new 0015 (on Tuesday to Saturday mornings) Fenchurch Street to Grays via Rainham service.
* In order to provide a better service interval at this time of the evening the present 23.45 departure from Fenchurch Street to Grays via Rainham will now depart at 23.35 and run 10 minutes earlier throughout
