Hidden away on the engineering pages on c2c's website, is the announcement that they will be running through trains to Southend, via Thurrock stations on Saturday 3rd June and also for the following four Saturdays. Why this is on the engineering pages, when their is in fact no engineering work taking place, is anyone's guess, although c2c are to be applauded for resuming through services, thus avoiding the need for passengers to change at Pitsea and negotiate a rather high footbridge.
